N.F. Casteleijn (Niek)
Mijn naam is Niek Casteleijn en werk in dit ziekenhuis sinds 2023 als uroloog. Ik houd mij onder andere bezig met de kinderurologie en behandeling van nierstenen. Daarnaast ben ik verbonden aan het expertise centrum polycysteuze nierziekten in het UMCG. In 2017 ben ik gepromoveerd op de behandeling van pijnklachten bij cystenierpatiënten. Naast mijn werk vind ik het heerlijk om in mijn vrije tijd buiten actief bezig te zijn. Overal is het mogelijk om een rondje hard te lopen of de weg te verkennen op de racefiets. Dit maakt mijn hoofd leeg en geeft weer energie.
